A woman suspects her husband is cheating on her. One day she calls home and a
strange woman answers.

Wife: Who is this?

Maid: This is the maid.

Wife: We don't have a maid.

Maid: I was hired this morning by the man of the house.

Wife: Well, this is his wife. Is he there?

Maid: He's upstairs in the bedroom with someone who I assumed was his wife.

The wife is fuming.

She says to the maid... "Listen, would you like to make $50,000?

Maid: What will I have to do?

Wife: I want you to take my gun from the desk and shoot him and the woman
he's with . The maid puts the phone down. The wife hears footsteps and the
gunshots, then more footsteps.

Maid: What do I do with the bodies?

Wife: Just drag them out and throw them in the swimming pool.

Maid: But there's no pool here.

Just one flaw in that.

It assumes there will be a gun in the desk by default....

only a limey would say such a thing

you forget
we americans have more guns than people

not to have a gun in the desk drawer
would simple be unamerican
*wink*

Well. Technically (or actually), I'm Finnish. But I have lived in England for 11 years.

Good grief. I think you might be right...

Finnish eh?

I was in Helsinki once to meet my mother and older brother after they spent a week being interrogated by the KGB before being deported from the Soviet Union to Finland

It was quite nice, except for the whole wondering if your mother was going to come home or be sent to siberia part

I hear Siberia is quite nice, actually, my friend goes there for months on end voluntarily.

She is certified, of course, but that's another story. :|

luckily for you

life is full of second chances

as I am heading to the vineyard for
a week around Thanksgiving
so
I will be in Boston for at least for a day
to conduct some business

I should still have your number
and will give you a ring
once I get my schedule nailed down
