"Some Walmart customers soon will be able to sample a new discount item
Walmart's own brand of wine. The world's largest retail chain is teaming up with E&J Gallo Winery
to produce the spirits at an affordable price; in the $6-8 range."

"While wine connoisseurs may not be inclined to throw a bottle of Walmart brand
wine into their shopping carts, there is a market for inexpensive wine,
said Kathy Micken, professor of marketing at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I.
She said: "The right name is important."

So, with that in mind,
some suggested names
for walmarts new line of wine:

Chateau Traileur Doublewide

White Trashfindel

Big Red Gulp

Grape Expectations

Domaine Walmart "Merde du Pays"

NASCARbernet

Chef Boyardeaux

Peanut Noir

Chateau des Moines

I Can't Believe It's Not Vinegar!

World Championship Wriesling

and my personal favourite

Nasti Spumante

to help initial sales, they could give discounts proportional to sales in their 'guns and ammo' department.

World Championship Wriesling is my favorite.

Although anyone who has ever has Asti has been calling it nasty--for years. :)

dahlin

you are obviously
drinking the wrong stuff

a quality asti can be quite delictable

while I prefer a moscato di asti
to an asti spumante
I have still had quite a few excellent bottle
of the later

unfortunately it is a less prevelant wine
so only rarely do decent ones
make it to the broader marketplace
I have rather had to search them out myself

Well I'm from .au, where we make lots of fantastic wine, and ship it overseas.

Luckily we manage to keep some for ourselves, but life's too short to drink Bad Wine.

I could not agree with you more
I have a rather nice assortment
of wine produced by your country
and am quite fond of it

in fact the prize of wine collection
is an old vine syrah from McClaren vale
set me back a pretty penny that did
but
worth every one let me tell you
