you sell a girl
for five minutes
and she gets
all upset

never mind that
I took the 700 bucks profit
from selling her soul
recapitalized
purchased three others
and sold them at great profit
purchased her back (cheaper than I sold her too)
and made 2100 bucks
in the process

damn
I am good

*realizes she is gonna kill him when she reads this*

I am the
god of capitalism

from my point of view,
it sucks.

love does not equal capitalism,
if you ask me.
heh.

and now
he basically OWES me
the trip to milan.
to soothe my
pain and suffering,
of course.

certainly love does not equal capitalism, but I'm in utter agreement that money may indeed go a long way to soothing a bartered soul.

...you have to work on your sales pitch, Plural.

See, by leveraging her soul, it just goes to show how you can effortlessly appreciate the real value of her soul...and buy buying it back, see, (and making a profit), it shows that her soul is more valuable to you than what other speculators may think. As for selling it in the first place, see....

you're screwed.

Amber, dump some ice water on him after he falls asleep tonight.

Ah, but what if it were the sort of deal where he buys eggs for seven cents apiece in Milan and sells them for five cents, making a profit?
In other words, what if he actually controls the entire soul market, allowing him to shuffle her soul around a little bit, though each time he's really just selling her to himself?

well

Perhaps spinning off a couple of divisions? You could have one for Good souls, one for Bad souls, and keep the Wholesale Soul business under your own name. Of course, it would be awfully convenient if the new startups were to elect you as their CEO, given the amount of experience you have in the soul trading business.
