about the link between
expectations and disappointment
I rarely expect
and therefore
am rarely disappointed
but sometimes
it is good to expect
for it do not expect
you will never receive
I always
have expectations
of myself
usually pretty high ones
like most people
I don't give myself
one-tenth the slack
I give other people
but really
what I am wondering
is this
what can I expect from her?

Plan like you will live forever
Live like you will die tomorrow
(to call it pessamistic in action, seems more negative than I like, which of course doesnt affect the overall truth which it hold but just my fancy, I suppose)
