Ok lets start with a basic assumption
and I think anyone who challenges it
is probably in denial, but that's my opinion
any single guy has porn
(and most attached ones as well)
and it isn't only classy art nudes
I also want to state that there is a distinct difference
in the guy who has some porn
to help get through a lonely moment
when he is without a woman or his
woman in unavailable
I want to focus on these guys, I am not talking about guys
who ignore their girlfriends to download porn
or display obviously obsessive issues.
I was having a discussion with a female friend of mine
who was concerned that her boyfriend had
too much porn on his computer
we talked about differing types
ranging from playboy style porn
to 25m - 1f gang bang porn
my questions to the ladies are these
what do you consider to be an acceptable
or "normal" amount of porn?
and what sort of porn excluding the obvious
child/animal/etc
would you say is too explicit and would
freak you out (if any would)?

Date: 2000-12-12 09:58 pm (UTC)I don't think *amount* matters. If I see porn stashed about, I want to know about content. If he's got sticky marks on the pages of big breasted blonds, and I'm a modest brunette, I'm going to be slighted.
I'm fairly open minded, so I doubt any particular scenes outside of the extreme ones would bother me. What I hated with my boyfriend was when I'd find a magazine he had just bought and he hadn't shared it with me. I don't care if you have it, but don't stash it away-that will hurt more. It's like he's saying he'd prefer that but wouldn't want to hurt my feelings.
In general, porn is not a problem. But men shouldn't be secretive with it, either.
