Ok lets start with a basic assumption
and I think anyone who challenges it
is probably in denial, but that's my opinion

any single guy has porn
(and most attached ones as well)
and it isn't only classy art nudes

I also want to state that there is a distinct difference
in the guy who has some porn
to help get through a lonely moment
when he is without a woman or his
woman in unavailable

I want to focus on these guys, I am not talking about guys
who ignore their girlfriends to download porn
or display obviously obsessive issues.

I was having a discussion with a female friend of mine
who was concerned that her boyfriend had
too much porn on his computer

we talked about differing types
ranging from playboy style porn
to 25m - 1f gang bang porn

my questions to the ladies are these

what do you consider to be an acceptable
or "normal" amount of porn?

and what sort of porn excluding the obvious
child/animal/etc
would you say is too explicit and would
freak you out (if any would)?

Interesting :/

There was a time in my life, when working at the rape and domestic violence shelter - that I disdained all pornography and any who used it - except for that considered art. I guess I saw too much damage.. perverts taking pictures of their rape victims and the like, girl-children into prostitution and used as "models" because they desperately needed some way to survive on the street... Moving away from that and finding balance in my life, away from the militant feminist who preach all heterosexual sex is unequal and therefore rape, and enjoying again my love of men.. I can find almost nothing wrong with most pornography and the gentle type use of it you suggest. I hate that there is an industry where some balding white male, of dubious ethics and legitimate (aye - fascist, I am, once again)right to breath other people's oxygen is in some corporation somewhere getting rich off images of women who are too devoid of self worth (emotional, monetary) that they need to sell images of their body for someone else to make a judgement on their worth by ONLY their air-touched image.. But any woman who, proud of her body, wishes to sell it or images of it.. doesn't bother me.. as long as SHE reaps the rewards of it. Me? I find I enjoy the campy availabilty of pornography on the 'net.. The self publishing. I enjoy most the images which, while physically revealing, *hint* at the next action.. not the explicit sex itself. I hate the locker room bawdiness were teens or teen-minded men band together and discuss liking to have that piece or not.. and the way that degrades the woman's value into mere meat.

Hrmm. Please do bear with me in that I am an "oral thinker" and do not truly have the whole opinion finsihed until after I try to say it.
