pluralIsabel got her first bath today
and you can just see how happy she is about it
now normally I leave their hygiene up to them
but if they start stinking or get filthy
they get a bath
In the four years I have owned carlisle
[yes I own him, he is my property]
[also known as my cat]
he has gotten two baths
for cleanliness reasons
and one of those wasnt his fault
After the first bath
well actually it was a shower
as I had him take a shower with me
he has done a damn fine job
keeping himself clean and fresh smelling
in fact
I only think I've had to warn him once
and
he took right good care of it
hopefully Isabel will follow in his footsteps

Date: 2004-09-11 08:54 pm (UTC)I had a cat that used to ENJOY taking showers with you.. she'd climb down off the top of the sliding glass door onto your shoulder when you least anticipated (and were likely lathering your hair or some such) and expect you to hold her under the warm water.. She would politely demand the water be even warmer. ;)
