the redhead came over tonight
and
we talked for a while

in the end
we decided not to take the next step
and
will go forward as friends

part of it I think
was the thought
she had that she was not what I wanted
and
the other part being
that I was not willing
to make a commitment yet

perhaps
it only reinforced the prior
image in her thoughts

I walked her to her car
gave her a hug
and
she insisted on
one last lingering kiss

pretty typical really
she cant help wanting to fuck me
but
like most women
realizes a relationship isn't in her best interest

in a way
I suppose I cant complain
I mean
most guys
cant get laid at all
where
my problem
is not with getting laid
or even with getting repeat customers
but
with getting any sort of investment
beyond the physical

oh well
such is life

although
if I was to judge
just from that last kiss

I would wager
that there will be another chapter
in this particular story

anyway
I went out and had a few drinks
so
I am taking my slightly tipsy ass to bed
