the redhead came over tonight
and
we talked for a while

in the end
we decided not to take the next step
and
will go forward as friends

part of it I think
was the thought
she had that she was not what I wanted
and
the other part being
that I was not willing
to make a commitment yet

perhaps
it only reinforced the prior
image in her thoughts

I walked her to her car
gave her a hug
and
she insisted on
one last lingering kiss

pretty typical really
she cant help wanting to fuck me
but
like most women
realizes a relationship isn't in her best interest

in a way
I suppose I cant complain
I mean
most guys
cant get laid at all
where
my problem
is not with getting laid
or even with getting repeat customers
but
with getting any sort of investment
beyond the physical

oh well
such is life

although
if I was to judge
just from that last kiss

I would wager
that there will be another chapter
in this particular story

anyway
I went out and had a few drinks
so
I am taking my slightly tipsy ass to bed

Hey, that's too bad. I'm amazed that she was able to walk away after what she found with you; I wouldn't doubt the event of another chapter at all.

The commitment conversation came too quickly with you guys. It seems to me that you could have just dated and had fun and enjoyed each other until there was no longer any enjoyment. But she is possibly moving, maybe thats why a decision was needed so soon.

I would imagine this is not over, it rarely is especially when there is that much attraction and passion. Another chapter is inevitable.

Also, if you felt for her what you wrote, felt things you hadn't felt in 2 years, I wouldnt let her go so easily, there is something there to explore.

we had previously had a brief discussion along the same lines and agreed that dating/having fun was where we were at.

the quick shift I think came from external forces, moving being one of them, I got the impression that she was looking for something from me to allow her to ignore whatever worries she had, and what I was willing to give wasnt enough for her.
