Small town joys

so tonight
was blissfully drama free

went out and had a few drinks
with some friends

played pool for a few hours
flirted with a classy and seriously hot cougar

form fitting but not tacky jeans
sweater
nice boots

mmm

got some digits for a rainy day

went home a little early
spent some time talking with
lamotocyclette
which is always a pleasure

got some work done
which is always satisfying
and
now I am off for some cuzzi time
with a book and a some wine

but before I do

there is one thing
I always have a hard time remembering
about small towns

how quickly everyone knows everything

when I got to my local pool hall
everyone I knew
already knew about last nights excitement
and
my comment of

"trust me boy, you don't have a big enough dick to play that game"

was the subject of much amusement
especially considering
I bitched him so badly
afterwards

a girl I had been flirting with
[who works there]
was especially friendly and touchy
tonight

which I thought was sort of tacky
I mean
I can handle myself sure
but I don't find violence attractive in a person

so I pretty much ignored her
to flirt with said cougar

and made a point of letting her catch me
staring at the other gals ass

she of course made the comment
"don't make it obvious or anything"
to which I just grinned
so she continued with
"I mean tilting your head and all"
to which I responded with

"well it gives you a better perspective"

she laughed and asked me if I wanted another drink
