so last night

was my weekly billiards league night

during which I scored
a perfect score of 80
[ten points per game]
[eight total games]

and socialized with
a variety of people

at one point
I was having a fairly lighthearted
but animated discussion with two females
about the male-female dynamic
in relationships

specifically with regard to control/power dynamics

one of the young ladies
was pressing the point
that most women have their men
wrapped around their finger
and making a fairly decent argument
to support her case
when she switched
to a new analogy

"Guy are so clueless, they never realize that their girlfriends play them like violins"

to which I replied

"Not at all, it is just that my girlfriends would rather play me like a flute"
