great pleasures and minor amusements

so

i had delightful
[three hour]
conversation with
the most delightful
[not to mention deliciously devious]
lechuza_t

which was most undelightfully interrupted

and
afterwards I went downstair to have some
breakfast.

and was made aware
that
the hotel staff
know me just a little too well

granted i have been
more than generous with my tips
and
always quick with a greeting
and smile

to what do I refer?

well while sitting
at my usual
table for breakfast
the bellhop
came over and
handed me a catalog
i was a bit confused
as
i had not requested
anything of the sort

seeing my confusion
[you see i didnt make the connection]
[it my head, it was just too early]
he opened the catalog
and turned a few pages

and then it dawned on me
he was showing me the catalog
because my models
were in it
and
I nodded finally getting his point
and thanked him

apparently
he had noticed it
and brought it to work
to
give to me

anyway
it rather irrelevant
i suppose
but i found it amusing.

The Mailbox Bomber ... or talking out of my ass

his recent post reminded me that I wanted to find out more
about the individual and the circumstances
and he was even kind enough to provide This handy link

Let me begin by saying there are
few things more terrifying than a nutjob
who
stumbles on a small bit of truth
and
think mistakenly that he understands it

You see he is right about one thing

People operate based on fear
and governments and companies
use that fear to control us
to make us conform

now all that other smack
about the truth about death
and
dismissing people
is really whacked

he is another of those
salvation killers

who kills people so they can see
the light of truth and be saved

he thrives on creating involuntary martyrs
and views himself as one
he has no choice as he is just the messenger
people who he believes he is helping
but it is only a justification
which allows him to kill

that and his belief
[which is correct]
that by killing people
he will bring attention to his cause

chances are he was raised in
a strict and very religious family
[most likely christian]
he backlashed by rebelling
probably running away from home
at a relatively young age

found comfort in new age ideas
and in finding so called enlightenment.

as much as he believes he has found this
enlightened state, and wishes that he could just wake up
the rest of us,
he cant shake the core religious beliefs
that he was raised with
they lie in his subconcious forcing him
to justify and provide positive rational for his actions

the most obvious one
is that murder is wrong
he justifies it because he isnt killing
death is not an end, but a way to enlightenment

secondly he has a martyr complex
he views those he kills and himself
as martyrs to some holy cause
again a justification for his actions

he honestly believes
he is killing these people
because he cares about them
because by killing them he is saving them


Future telling time now boys and girls

This will end in one of two ways
either he will make a big enough mistake
that allows the government to catch him
as he wants to be caught

or

he will continue sending his little messages
for a few weeks, maybe months
but I dont think he has the patience and stamina to go that long
it has taken him some time
to get the strength of conviction to do what he has done
and he just wants to get his message out and help people
as soon as he has created enough media attention
he will turn himself in, probably to a reporter.
