The devil in miss jones or why did my cats do that?

I have been curing a bunch of those tiny habenero peppers
you know the really hot ones....

I am walking around my house well I see my cat chewing on something
so always being the cautious father, I take it from him
can't figure it out for a moment
then I realize it is the stump of one of the peppers

I check the others
gone

my cats ate half a pound of habeneros

I am not sure
whether to be proud
or scared

I think I will just make sure
they have plenty of water
