ok maybe I do,
but perhaps I don't..
anyway as it is generally impolite to ramble on with an answer especially when one has not divulged the question.
I drink,
alcohol,
rather heavily
or should I say frequently
I would not say I have a problem with alcohol
And while I have been to a certain river in Egypt,
I am not there now.
"He was a social drinker
and social every night
he enjoyed a pint or two or four."
as a general rule,
not out of concern mind you,
more out of style
I refrain from having more than a single drink in solitary company
and I do not count my cats as company for more than two drinks either
Anyway
as I said earlier,
I had a friend for dinner,
delicious I tell you.
I opened a bottle of chardonnay
quite a good one actually
we barely got through a third before she needed to retire for the night.
Does it count as drinking alone as I finish the bottle? (the question referred to earlier in case you didn't make the connection)
After all, it would be near criminal to let such a delightful vintage go to waste
1995 was a delightful year for whites somewhere I am sure...
In Vino Veritas - in wine there is truth
strange saying all in all
especially to be the motto of one of our more prestigious universities.
personally as I look inside the bottle all I see is that strange little bump at the bottom
truth is ever so elusive.
A thousand pardons my dears
I have had too much wine
I fear
however
there are two glass left
I would not be bereft
and let such an elixir exposed
lose any of it's charm or it's prose
but perhaps I don't..
