I think it's too early for me to tell...

If this 'war' is going to involve carpet bombing and a large invasion force, I'd say no.

If this war is going to involve light bombing and commando raids I'd say maybe (depends upon whether or not their can be adequate restraint on who is targeted).

If this war is going to be faught mostly by the FBI, CIA and involves using political pressure on the Bin-Ladin's family (I have little doubt they could shed MUCH light on his financial structure), as well as gross intimidation of the swiss and other 'private' banking centers to rob him of his money, I'd be happy.

Am I right?

I didn't support the gulf war, prefering to wait for the sanctions to work... I'd probrably do the same thing today, regardless of the fact that in hindsight, they never would have really worked.

But...they "the oppressed peoples of the world" complain that sanctions target the wrong people. Afghanistan is under sanctions, and look at that mess.
