A fable

Mr. Scorpion is walking though the desert
when he comes upon a river.
He want to cross the river, but cant swim.
so looking around he spots a frog.

"Mr Frog can you take me across the river on your back"

Mr. Frog is wary

"But you are a scorpion, you will sting me"

Mr. Scorpion replies
"It would not be in my best interest to sting you,
for I would be on your back and would drown as well"

Mr. Frog thinks and agrees,
Mr. Scorpion climbs on his back
and Mr. Frog begins to swim across the river.

About halfway across
the frog feels a sharp burning pain in his side
and realize the scorpion has stung him.

"Mr. Scorpion" he cries
"Why did you sting me, for now we shall both surely die"

"I cant help it"
the scorpion replied
"Its in my nature"

The moral of the story:

we do what is in our nature,
even if it is not always in our best interest.

*shakes her head violently*
