may have

pay bills
pay taxes
work
eat
and
many
other things

but
I
do
not

have to

make
a
damn
bit of
sense

I love
my contradictions

I love
that I can change
my favorite food
from week to week

or change which foods I hate
as frequently

I do not have to make sense

I love her
very much
but even for her
I do not
have to make sense

I have to be good to her
and love her and
that I will do

I will
make her my princess

the queen
of my
nonsensical world

I do not
require reasons
of myself
any more
than it makes me happy

now
this is not
a break commitments and
act all crazy sort of realization

but a much more subtle one

why should you
ever have to justify
what you like
and don't like

and why
can those
likes and dislikes
never
change

live life
and
do not limit
yourself
without good
reason

Stop
making
sense
