It has been too long since I posted here

so much has happened
so much is happening
even more will happen

but I have

so little to say

the very foundations of my prior life
exposed and threatened

stuck in limbo
unable to plan, to forcast
sitting and waiting
for the inevitable

I don't much like it.

tomorrow
will be a day

just a day
but so much hinges upon it

life, death, success, failure

the chemo is wearing her down some but she's been a trooper.

those chemo drugs are brutal but they do hurt the cancer a lot worse. If it had a personality the cancer would be extremely unhappy right now. I wish her the best with her treatment regimen, a speedy recovery afterwords, and hopefully the optimum results.

Rollercoastering. A few days ago, I was swaying between leaving for good, back to the US to buy a bike and ride off into the sunset, or heading to Australia for a month or two to decompress.

Now that I may have a decent job just about locked down (part-time work, full-time pay + autonomy) I'm back to staying. For a while, anyway.
