A delightful evening
Oct. 17th, 2007 04:46 pmS & I met up with
sonicblue for drinks
at the Rogue Alehouse (actual name may vary)
Had a delightful chat
and his plans the evening changed on him
so we stole him off for dinner as well
swung by my little pad here
had some yummy bourbon
schmoozed some more
and
went out for most excellent indian food
it was quite a good time.
so we decided to see
if we could do it again
this weekend
only in seattle
and it occurred to me
as I was walking up the front steps
at the end of the night
for being such a miserable bastard
I have pretty damn cool friends
I said as much to S
who responded
"yeah, I've noticed that"

Date: 2007-10-18 08:39 pm (UTC)It sounds like you hit it on a good night, but in any event, let me recommend Vindalho on SE 20th & Clinton. You'll probably love it, and I know you'll get better food. :)

Date: 2007-10-18 09:36 pm (UTC)The food I had (and seemingly everyone else as well) was pretty damn good, although I was rather disappointed with the small selection on the menu, and it seemed a little pricey compared to most of the good ethnic restaurants I've eaten at here.
I'll give Vindalho a try, when we get back from Seattle and let you know what I think.
