Playing with Feminists (part one)

The only exception to this rule that I can think of are prostitutes. No matter how often I explain to them that literally every human being on the planet could give a blowjob, therefore they should be like almost free, they still insist on charging me two hundred bucks.

Answer the following questions:

I didnt answer "is prostitution demaning" because sometimes its a position of power, control and freedom (Not referring to dominatrixes especially, but high end call girls, geishas, etc) but in general, it seems to be the addicts, runaways, prior sex victims, sex slaves, etc... a job done out of desperation and force, rather than.. a real choice, and the more desperate situation they are in, the less choice they have... which is most definitely demeaning.

Don't you think that would change if prostitution were legalized? It seems to me that the reason only desperate people become prostitutes is because only desperate people are willing to take an illegal job with few protections and many, often serious, dangers. I don't think it's prostitution that is demeaning...just the weird ways our laws treat it.

There are the same problems in Las Vegas, Amsterdam, Thailand,... exploitation, lack of real protection, slavery, addictions, desperation, minors, etc...

Legalization is a safety net for both the prostitutes and the johns,... but not a deterrent from those who are desperate, those who want to exploit, and those who continue to do so illegally (without testing, without licensing, without consent, underage, etc)
