I received
some big old spam

entitled

"INSTRUCTIONS FOR YOUR LIFE"

most of them
were the standard fare of
tripe and banality
but it reminded me
of some of my favorite
like minded sayings

I share an incomplete
list with you now

Memorize your favorite poem

Never ignore someone’s dreams

Love deeply and passionately
you may get hurt
but this is the only way
to live life

Never judge a person based
but for how they treat you

Remember that the deepest love and
the greatest achievements are the ones
bearing the most risk

Spend sometime alone

Remember that sometimes silence
is the best answer

Read more books and
watch less TV

Have faith in people
but lock your car

Read in between the lines

at least once a year
go somewhere
you have never been

Learn well all the rules
so that you know
how to break them
in the proper manner

Face Love and cooking
with absolute commitment
and don't expect that it
will always go as planned
