I liked our discussion, so I went ahead and added you to my Friends list. Really, though, I think it was your bio which sold me. So, here's a comment from a relative new-comer to your journal, one poor bastard to the other poor bastards contemplating adding you.
I liked the bio because, well--I can only say that it was like watching the Matrix trilogy, only done right. Where the movies slammed "depth" and "meaning" at you with the subtlety of a Mack Truck with the RPMs red-lining, the bio actually took a while to let me see the subtleties. The possible meanings of letting someone else do a bio, of just what that person said, the "preface" and "afterword" bookending it nicely, adding more things to think about.
And who knows? Maybe all that thought was intentional. Maybe not. I still can't argue either way--if it was purposeful, it succeeded. If it wasn't, I can only be more intrigued.
I might not comment often, but I can definitely say that I'll read.
