A few photos

so
on sunday I went on a bird watching expedition
with my father

and of course
I took a few photos
[about 90 or so]
and even managed to get some good ones

which given the quality of my photographic work of late
[I havent been able to figure it out]
[its like I have the photographic equivilent of writers block]

Its rather odd seeing as the Bald Eagle is the American National Bird and all
but as far as I can recall I've never seen one in the US
I have however seen many in Canada, and saw over a dozen on Sunday
and
while this next photo is utter crap
I'm including it in this post
because I feel like it

damn writer's block, I haven't written anything worth the ink and paper in about 2 yrs - however, it hasn't spilled over to my school work, I can still right a 10 page paper the nite before it's due

We have a pair of herons and a pair of osprea living in our little corner of the bay...

Truly impressive.

I've been told by some of the saltier locals that if you take off down inlet you can see a wall of osprea nests thats remarkably impressive.

Puffins are my favorite bird ever. I say that with the full knowledge that I will be brand an ornithological nerd, but it is what it is. :-)
