Sometimes you get the bull

[plural]

and sometimes the bull gets you

*grin*

I've been a bit insane lately
my sister graduated from highschool on saturday
so most of the past week
has been consumed with family things
and
my older brother is engaged to be married
[for the second time]
I met the intended briefly
but received a positive impression

lately my life's been seeming a bit
out of control
not in a bad way
more like opportunities keep popping up
and either I grab them or they pass me by

I'm grabbing as quickly as I can
but the pace is a bit unsettling

usually I've always been the sort
to make my own opportunities
carefully laying out my schemes
so that life will bend to my will

these past few weeks
the pace has been increased

seems more like holding on for the ride
than wresting control of things

but when I step back and look at it
I can see what choices have led me here
and while I'd never consider it
that I always had the choice to bow out

I suppose I'm just not the sort of guy to fail a gut check
which
more than anything
my thoughts of late have been

chin down
keep it moving

anyway

much is in the works
which I'm hoping to be able to share with yall
here soon

and maybe just maybe
I'll get a moment this week
to try to catch up on your journals

and I'd appreciate it if you woud
drop me a note if there is anything important
which I've missed

Things have been going really well and I must admit to a rather acute case of being busy myself. I'm preparing for a cross-country move but I'm glad I had this chance to pop in on you.

Left kickmo about a year ago - I currently reside in upstate NY.

I'm moving down to Florida for about six months, then I'll be moving to Asheville, NC.

If I get the moving bug after Asheville, it'll be Washington State that follows.
