all my term papers are complete and turned in
bout fooking time too
I only have a flight to catch in 5 hours
*grin*
but damn it feels good to be finished
not to mention I am pretty happy with my work
I wrote four term papers
Palestinian Succession, life after Arafat
[including predictions of what would happen]
[and so far I've been bang on, we'll find out for sure on Jan 9th]
The impact of blogs and blogging on popular culture
A look at Las Vegas as the embodiment of the modern American ethos - tracing the evolution of the American ethos from the original puritan settlers through western expansion to our modern ethos and the factors which seem to be leading us to a Huxleyian future.
and lastly the paper I just finished
The effects of social capital, specifically knowledge of financial management (or the lack there of) on class inequality and wealth disparity in America
fun stuff
although I have to admit I thought I was going to die
reading through pages and pages of BEA income statistics
after pulling an all nighter last night to get this done
seriously mind-bleeding stuff
anyway
I'm off to pack and get my house in order before I leave
Love to you all and may the holiday season be full of joy
P
P.s. Seattle Folks, my schedule is being decided over the next few days so if you are available to meet up, let me know as soon as you can.

Date: 2004-12-18 06:44 am (UTC)Also, fuck you. I grew up in Seattle and I would very much like to go back. I miss it there... I may have plenty of gloomy, rainy days here in Pittsburgh, but I feel lost without all the snooty, overpaid cunts.
Also, if Sisters is still around, they have the best breakfast sandwiches ever. It's in Port Alley in the Pike Place Market.
