i've been there a couple of times (seriously only two or three) but the place is great.
its not a place to take any human of the female variety - regardless - but i like a certain aspect of it: it is a monument to human tragedy. it feels like the place where you sometimes want to go when you just need to disappear into a hole.
not to mention - the two happy hours and everything is a double during happy hour ($5) is not necessairly bad. as a matter of fact you could use earls as a fueling up spot for the evening....yeah, return periodically return to refuel at bargain prices.
