[because I forgot to mention it earlier]

I quoted the captain of road prison 36 from cool hand luke
as a support for an arguement in my terrorism paper

but of course

the king is never satisfied

so I have decided

for my paper in "politics of race, class and gender"
I am going to find a way to quote "full metal jacket"
in support of my argument

I was originally thinking "Clockwork Orange" but that would be too easy

Have you ever read Mr. Cranky's review of A Clockwork Orange?

They just let themselves get beaten, because that's what you do in England when you're not avoiding the dentist.

My English profs would have had your head.

I once quoted MYSELF in a paper. I wrote something like that, "A poet once said..." and then inserted a line of some poem or other I had written.

I am waiting to read that you quote: "A world ruler once said" and then insert one of your own lines. :-)

That's a great feeling. I cited a horribly crappy paper that I'd written in high school for a research writing class in college once.

Did you give yourself credit in the Works Cited page?

I wonder if one can get in trouble for plagarizing oneself? :-)

Wow. Now that is an unexpected coincidence. Yeah, I just graduated. What does he do there?

And yeah, you can get in trouble for plagiarizing yourself. But it's not plagiarizing if you cite yourself. :)

Something involving cable? Technology? I know it involves being paid to watch TV.... :-)

Hmm, what's his name? I used to work for tech services, so I'll bet I knew him when I was there.

No!

Its something else...it involves cable. I know that much.

Like I would be related to a security guard!

That sounded so snobby. But I've never tried to hide that. ;-)
