Why oh why didnt I take the red pill
so
I've been insane lately
midterm exams and visiting family
not to mention other obligations
so I havent been around much
but on the bright side
the luncheon I am catering at my synagogue
for the head Haddassah honchettes
next sunday
has been growing from the initial estimate of 20
to 35 confirmed so far
which freaking amazes the hell out of me
considering we rarely have more than 12 people
in shul for services
thank god I live accross the street so I can cook in both kitchens
*grin*
yes indeed
it is good to be the king

so that part was easy
for sides I am thinking
roasted new potatoes
stuffed tomatos
roasted asparagus
for starters
spinach salad (greekish style)
butternut squash gazpacho
and some sort of bread
default will be garlic bread
unless I can think of something more fitting

gold star for you
and
yep
I'm sure it does somewhere
