People who care more about these things than I do say it's better than Friendster.

It seems to me like exactly the same thing.

Of course, I signed up for it months ago and have not looked at it since, so.

how do I molest find you on there

[identity profile] darwinpolice.livejournal.com 2004-10-03 10:14 am (UTC)(link)
You find me by searching for either e.a.hinrichsen@iup.edu or e.a.hinrichsen@gmail.com.

You molest me by offering me candy.

They seem identical to me.

The differences are fairly neglible. I haven't a clue why myspace caught on more, but the fact that it has more people is generally a reason to consider it above the rest at this point. Though you could say that for this reason it probably gets the most attention feature wise.

+Myspace is more pleasing asthetically...
+Myspace has less intrusive ad placing
+Myspace has an instant messaging feature
+Myspace has a group feature
+Myspace lets bands have profiles and they can offer mp3's on their pages.
+Myspace lets you use html (etc?) in your profile to customize your page. (Which obviously some people... love.. and I personally find annoying as I wait 2 minutes for a profile even though I have a cable modem...)

I'm not hip and I'm proud!

Although being an outsider is becoming the new black... a trendy kid at my campus asked me how I avoided being cool with the in-crown

I answered him in Latin that nerds have always been hotter, kinker in bed than the cool kids.
