The character in my novel is half Jewish, and so if you are cool with that, I would like to bug you from time to time with a question or two to make sure some of the facts are authentic.

by jewish law the religion is passed down through the mother so either the mother is jewish and therefore the child is 100%, or the mother isnt jewish and therefore the child isnt 100%. The father is entirely irrelevant to this.
