School Daze

yep

today was my first day of school

exciting stuff

I am loaded up on poli-sci courses several of which look pretty promising/interesting

I am taking the following this semester

Law & Society (polisci)
Terrorism & Security in the New World Order (polisci)
Politics of Race/Gender/Class (polisci)
Rhetoric in Popular Culture (communications)
Science, Technology & Human Affairs (philosophy)

I tried to get into "Corruption, Scandal, and Lies" figuring it was right up my alley but unfortunately it was booked solid, guess I will have to wait until next year to learn how to do all that stuff

in other news

why is it whenever I am doing something to my puters
rebuilding em, reallocating hardware etc
that a hard drive decides to fail?

I loaded up a mostly unused IDE drive with all less important data
[i.e. stuff like mp3 and what not that I dont bother backing up]

so that I could clean up and rebuild my systems

and what happens

I get 150gbs loaded on the drive and it craps out

joy joy

well I haxxored it up some to get it working again
and am now copying all that data to other drives

and wouldnt you know it
I am coming up about 3gb short on drive space
looks like I am gonna have to burn a few dvds worth of data
heh

yeah

but that wont be a problem

cause well

I rock

yep you heard me

I rock
