so stop pretending anyone loves you
why don't you go sign up to receive more spam

keep them to yourself or share them with any of your friends
who are not already drowning in them

do NOT go advertising them in communities
the time when one could trade them for status
[or money and sexual services is long past]

having a gmail invite was intarwebnet cool at one point
[unless you were one of those people who didn't have any friends]
[and had to whine about not having one until someone gave you one]

but now when even my mother is calling me up at 2am
asking if I can please, please take a few of them off her hands

it is just pathetic.

heh.

I made a similar post a couple of weeks ago after I noticed that all of the accounts I created for O and U days earlier (it was a last ditch attempt to eat up invites after I'd exhausted invites to family and friends weeks prior) each had six invites. I think I'm currently sitting on like 40 invites...
