and time for the ever popular

"Thing that rock about being me today"

also known as

It is good to be the king

Topping todays list of things that rock is my first hot shower in six days

woot yeah that rocked

all forty minutes of it

yeah baby

and

you know what else rocked

finding out that my ever delightful father
decided on a whim to install the rainfall shower head I had purchased
so not only did I not have to
but it was ready and waiting for me when I got home

brilliantly spazillicious I tell ya

next may I pause for a commercial message

and pimp the ever loving heck
out of

"Miss Vickie's Sweet Chili and Sour Cream Potato Chips"

they seriously rock
so
if they carry Miss Vickies around you
do us both a favor and pick up a bag

and of course
this commercial message is backed by the plural 100% satisfaction guarantee
if you buy them and are not completely satisfied
just send them to me and I will be

next item

actually started out as a kinda sucky one
my long sleeve linen shirt I ordered
got nixxed
so no love there
but the rest of my previous clothing arrives
so
I popped online and
sought a comforting replacement for
what was sure to be a well loved linen shirt

and

yes god sure does love me

because

I found this double weight gingham dress shirt with french cuffs
that is scrumptious and half price

just try to tell me
you could resist my charming grin
in that sexy ass shirt

what? you think you could? click here

and well
since I was shopping
and one glorious shirt deserves another

I bought

this

and

this

oh
and lest I forget

on top of my usual charms
and I am not entirely sure this is even possible
in fact
my theoretical models do not even support the possibility

but I am going to stretch the limits here
and affirm

that my usual levels of irresistibility are indeed surpassed
by the recent addition of the farmer bob tan
I acquired from days of kayaking

yeah

you know you love farmer bob tans

hmm?

whats that?

oh I see

you wanna see the map again?

well

anyway

I realize I haven't finished with
all the things that rocked for me today
but
I am beat
and wanna go snuzzle up

so
more to come in the morrow

love love

me

not to burst your bubble or anything
but a french cuff ain't a french cuff
if you're using a button

Silly! It could be one of those two-sided button thingees with the snip of elastic or trimming between them. It's not like they sell cuff links with every shirt!

eh

they just sell em with corded string holding em together

not very useful imho but
as I have my own cuffs
not really a concern

indeed

which is why I have several sets of cufflinks
for such occasions

Love the first and third shirts, especially the gingham one. There's something about a man in a blue shirt. Any chance we'll get a glimpse of you in those shirts?

assuming I get my camera prollem sorted out

*grin*

I thought french cuffs needed cuff links.

they do

banana republic has these nifty lil cords with buttons on each end that they sell their french cuff shirts with

I think it is for under-privileged middle class working folk who cant afford cufflinks

middle class working folk?

I was guessing neocon neauvou-riche... I always wondered why you didn't have your shirts made... the reality is it doesn't cost that much (about $80/shirt)...

*smirk* I was being facetious

and indeed

I do have my dress shirts made

it is only my casual stuff I buy from BR, and it is actually a good bit cheaper

the gingham shirt in question cost me 40$

on average my BR shirts costs me about 60$

where my custom shirts run about 110$-140$ depending on cut and cloth.
