another day in paradise

spent the morning

haggling with movers

looks like they are showing up
friday to pack all my stuff
and
saturday to move it

and

in case you are wondering
I am sleeping at the new house
I got internet hooked up
and moved my puters & cats over

then

I called my travel agent
to make some changes to my december trip
which I am greatly looking forward to

then I headed out
to meet mother for a four hours kayaking tour
sort of a warm up / refresher
for the five day trip we start on monday

I looked over the route today
it looks like it will be a pretty sweet trip

had dinner with the folks
and
went to a concert

which ended up having electrical issues
about half an hour into it
so
I waited for an hour
then decided that with the hour drive home
I was gonna call it a night

It was called

"concert under the stars"

one of those local summer outdoor concerts

looked like it would have been pretty good too
if not for the power problems
