Umm, Someone screw up a language tag somewhere?

My recent poll

is showing up on my friends list in russian

on my recent entry page it shows up just fine in english

which means one of you probably forgot to close a tag somewhere
rather than it being an lj problem

which does indeed amuse me

It shows up in german in mine, but that's because I told my S2 style to use german whenever it could. Your friend probably set his style to display in russian, and then forgot about it.

if a friend set it to russian it shouldnt affect how my friends page is displaying should it?

I thought LJ automatically closed open tags at the end of entries, but upon checking the FAQs, that doesn't seem to be the case. Your original guess is probably right, assuming someone was posting in russian higher up on the page.
