so

I have been working on ideas for the house

and in looking at paint samples and whatnot
the idea of whitewashing the cabinets in the kitchen occured to me.










now generally I am against painting over wood (excluding trim of course)
but I think it might help bring the kitchen back into line with the overall style of the house


thoughts?

Something needs painting. I agree that the wood and the red are just way too hunting lodge. The wood panneled wall could use a painting, so why not the cabinets too. Not so sure about the red color, although I like bright colors, but you can fix that after you paint the cabinets, if need be.
