1. Take five books off your bookshelf [or desk for the lazy (or in my case bedside table)]
2. The Yom Kippur War by Abraham Rabinovich -- first sentence
3. Paris 1919 by Margaret Macmillan -- last sentence on page fifty
4. No Ordinary Time by Doris Kearns Goodwin -- second sentence on page one hundred
5. Intelligence in War by John Keegan -- next to the last sentence on page one hundred fifty
6. Angels & Demons by Dan Brown -- final sentence of the book
7. Make the five sentences into a paragraph:

A military satellite beaming images of the Middle East to Earth late on the afternoon of October 5, 1973, would have confronted analysts with a perplexing picture. It was not a complication he needed as the laborious negotiations began. In a radio program on CBS, Eleanor argued for an administrative ruling that would permit refugee children to enter the United States as temporary vistors rather than as immigrants. That feature eliminated the need to decrypt by seperate process, a tedious and time-consuming business. "You've never been to bed with a yoga master, have you?"

it was good, as was the davinci code which is why I decided to give it a try.

honestly, conspiracy stories are hit or miss with me, what I enjoy is intelligent fiction. While I dont mind the occasional summer read, I prefer books that make me think.
