Date Three: Dinner and a Movie

I picked her up at nine

we drank fuzzy navels
while I prepared
linguine with a pesto-cream sauce
herb encrusted chicken
and a vegetable medley
with red, orange and green peppers
Japanese eggplant
and portabella mushrooms
grilled in my own blend of olive oil and spices

a delightful soave
and a loaf of warm french bread
to finish it off

and for desert
dilettante chocolate truffles
[and her *grin*]

then we retired
to the living room to watch
Casablanca

unfortunately
I became restless
having her warmth beside me
and was unable to resist
distracting her from the film
and
for the first time in my life
made love to the french national anthem
which
was fairly bizarre if not still
incredibly enjoyable

we moved up stairs
and made love several times
took a break
for another drink
and
I whipped out the bottle of almond oil
which I keep for such purposes
and spent over an hour
giving her a full body massage

then we made love until dawn
steamy and well oiled sex
mmm damn
it was good

we crashed out
exhausted around eight am
and slept until noon
at which point
I could no longer stand
holding her in my arms
and the erection her lithe form
was giving me
and we made love again
and
again

took another brief nap
showered together
around 8pm
intending that she would go home
but I got a little carried away
toweling her dry
and
well
one thing lead to another
and another

and it wasn't until nearly eleven thirty
that I walked her the few blocks to her home

we fit somewhere in there
the old relationship discussion
although I, of course, cheated
seeing as I was inside her and kept
distracting her during the conversation
and
although we decided
that we would have to calm down the sex some
[or start earlier]
if we were going to have a relationship
and have
any hope of functioning in our lives
[we have spent a total of 44 hours together]
[29 of which were spent having sex]
[the remainder is sleep and other activities]

I think it is safe to say
we are an item now

and that
is most delicious to me

after I walked her home
I decided I was a little to jazzed
to head to bed
so I grabbed a cab
and had a few drinks
schmoozed with some friends
before coming home

and now
while I must confess
a certain longing
to have her in my arms
and to be inside her
am still looking forward
to finally getting a little sleep
you know
so I can be well rested
for the next round.

and now
feeling rather glorious
and a wee bit tipsy

I am going to take
myself to bed
and to what I am sure
will only be the sweetest of dreams
