A quick question

Got a simple question for you for those of you who have read
my journal for sometime

I want to know
how you would describe me to another person
if you were asked to capture my essence.

please be blunt and brutally honest
flattery will do neither of us any good

I am curious

what are my faults?
my strengths?
my psychoses?
my gifts?

I would like to see myself
through your eyes

Plural is a preeevert in the funniest sense. Always honest, brutally but complimentary, depending on which honesty calls for.

Plural is EXTREMELY intellegent.

While he has issues with self-esteem and continually displays them by prattling on about conquests, and material worths, I strongly suspect that when he emerges from his current state of transition, he will be the epitome of a "good man" (reguardless of what he believes).

Plural, my man, you are a true poet. Many people can string a bunch of words together, rhyming or not, and call themselves poetic. You're the real thing -- you view life through emotional and spiritual discernment the same way many scientists view life through the lens of the scientific method.

That doesn't mean you aren't an asshole -- a lot of poets are (or were). You seem to think you can be an asshole from time to time, anyway. I don't see it that much in what you write, other than you say what you think and do what you want, and sometimes, if that infringes on someone else's picture of the world, it can annoy someone. Whether that someone deserves to be annoyed is another matter, but it seems to be beyond your moment-to-moment consideration.

If there is any danger I see in your lifestyle it is that it borders on hedonism, which can ultimately (and ironically) be unfulfilling. Not to mention, it focuses one on oneself, so that selfishness can become a reflex. Your 'do-and-say-what-I-want' attitude has the potential to reinforce this--especially if you enjoy throwing stuff out there just to see who it irritates. But, then again, you question yourself on a lot of this stuff, so I think you already know that. You seem to know yourself well enough to be objective about yourself (if you want to be), which is a rare quality.
