ever have one of those

shotgun moments

something happens
that causes a unexpected response in you
and you aren't really sure why at first
then
blamo it hits you
clear as day
like a two ton mac truck
and you feel like a complete fool
for not recognizing it
in yourself
sooner

I just had one of those

and

wow
it threw me for a loop

now the only question is
what to do about it

do you act upon it
or pretend things are
the way they have always been?
