It is quite simply too nice a day
to spend it cooped up indoors

I think I will go down to the arboretum
for a few hours
take a walk in the shade
feel the cool grass curl between my toes

find a quiet spot
and read a good book
for a few hours

I wish for you all a better day
than whatever you are having now
