A good night

[plural]

went to a wine tasting
always a pleasure

this beautiful girl
[almost a woman]
with a certain energy about her
and
an unexpected kiss
which left me a wondering

it was during our greeting
my hands round her waist
a peck on the left cheek
then aiming for the right
our lips met between
and
there were definite sparks

I think the kiss
surprised her as much as me
[although quite pleasantly]

and now the question
which sits in my mind
what to do
and of what kind

perhaps rather than think
I will finish my bourbon
and call sweet dreams
to nestle me into oblivion
