well yall remember that speeding ticket I got in Iowa during my trip

well I tried to fight it but they said I had to show up to contest it
threw the lawyer I hired right the hell out of the courtroom

so what could I do it wasn't worth flying out there
I paid the damn thing and the extra fees
the fuckers piled on just because they could

no worries right

well I just got a letter from the Iowa Department of Transportation

they are suspending my drivers license and requiring me to file and SR-22
in IO-FUCKING-WA because of a "serious violation - speed"

I was tagged for 91 in a 55 on a freaking highway
it wasn't like I was doing 80 in a school zone

i think they can only suspend your lisence in that state - i think only your own state can take you lisence away from all states

While I always keep my speed under 100, now that I've got my carbs properly tuned, I'm regularly going 85-90 (note that I rarely ride on freeways, and restrict myself to lonely, winding backroads with speed limits in the 30-40 range). It would probrably be prudent to learn from your mistake and slow down.
