Date: 2002-10-07 09:30 am (UTC)i don't even have a DVD player!! ha
*grin*
Date: 2002-10-07 11:44 am (UTC)I am quite the homebody
as I have no friends locally
so going out much is tiresome
although
I see friendships on the horizion
so that will change quickly
back home in seattle
I was unusually balanced between the two extremes
of homebody/social butterfly behavior
I would say I had between three and four
social or cultural events a week to attend
sometimes more but rarely less
the quantity of DVDs
is really a function of me being
eccentric and just buying them all the time
I actually have not even watched all of them
those that I havent
were movies that I liked
but havent felt like watching
since I bought em
of course
with the number I have now
decideding what to watch
is sort of a chore
[boo hoo poor me]
I tend to eeny meenie miny moe it
my favourite thing about DVDs
is being able to skip to a scene
it allows me to find things to show people
easily and to watch movies
sort of like TV shows
thirty minutes at a time
or just my favourite parts of a movie
easily
until recently I rarely had time
to watch more than one movie a week
in its entirety

Date: 2002-10-07 06:12 pm (UTC)i'm the same way with clothes....i couldn't tell you how many times i've given away clothes that i never even wore or i wore once.....of course, i'm starting to realize how much money that costs me - so i am definitely trying to be more choosy about my purchases

Date: 2002-10-07 06:33 pm (UTC)I wouldnt dream of it
I actually thought about ringing you up when I drove through on sunday
but I figured it was a little too short notice and I was rather tired from the driving and would not be the best of company.
however, I do need to head out that way in the near future [read sometime this week] to pick up a battery for my motorcycle, so if you like we can meet up for coffee, a drink or dinner, whichever suits you.
give me a ring and we can set it up
