plural | I got issues

College sorta messes with my brain

I had it all wired nicely one way
and
now that has to change

little things
you dont think about

for example

today is friday
in my new life
that is very important

I have different classes
at different times
on different days

If I didnt know what day it was
I would be all fucked up

This sounds like a simple thing
but
I have great trouble with it

I reallocated the memory space
that handles that feature
years ago

you see
I have not needed to know
nor cared to know
what day of the week it is
for
eight years or more

I almost always know what
the numerical day of the month is
but
whether it was tuesday or sunday
never mattered a bit

now it does
and my old fart of a brain
is resisting my attempts
to secure those peices of information
into memory
