(no subject)

Ok so I have a seven page
autobiographical paper due tomorrow

well actually it isn't due
the outline is due
the paper is due in two weeks
but since I had already most of it written
I asked if I had to write an outline anyway
and
he said nope
you can turn the whole thing in as a rough
instead

which I am

I just finished polishing into a rough draft

The title is prolly
"Immoral Absolution"

and it is a lurid recollection of
a night in service to Bacchus
although not nearly as detailed
as some of my accounts here
I still wonder the overall wisdom
of turning in the sort of thing

I did ask him about appropriateness of topics
adult content, etc, etc, and he said
"whatever I came up with would be fine"

think I may write a second paper
just to be safe
although I am rather fond of this one
or
should I say
I am rather fond of the memory
and
the paper aint bad either

of course I am fond of many things
most of which are best not shared
in so public a venue.

I would think that since the schooling experience is all about you and your relationship to the world. ..that instead of letting academia play you into the system of giving them the bits they expect to hear.. you should, your entire college career, always play it at the very personal basic level (this will, ironically, help you with achieving the greater mock up of grades because it will so outstand the tripe other students are trying to give to please the prof). In the end you might actually receive some valuable feedback that will enhance you personage rather than generating disgust (and diminishing enjoyment of degree attaining process) within you at the bullshit feedback loop. In other words - turn in the intimate, revealing, self portraiture.. your self esteem is not fragile enough for some schmuck to break you and you just MIGHT garner valuable insight.. plucking the gems of what they have to offer you from among the rubble. You are the consumer - they are in your service - use them to the advantage of best expressing your whole being.
