bored bored bored ... need to sleep but can´t

I just changed some money for the next phase of my trip.
and got my hands on my first euros
got one question? who was the smart ass who decided to size bills
according to denomination?

and I the only one who thinks this is fucking stupid

look bills should be the same size
so they fit neatly folded into your pocket
and what not

the five euro bill is about the size of two credit cards
while the fifty looks like a rave flyer
I have to wonder if the hundred comes with its own carrying case?

I think they do the different sized bills things so that the blind can know what bills they are handing over.

I actually heard a bit on NPR a few months ago when they Euro came out.

It IS probably completely annoying to have to deal with gigantic bills. :)

I don't have to deal with it though :)

annoy me more
the five is like barely bigger than a credit card

oh and that reminds me
I despise coins
especially when they are of any denomiation beyond worthless

I have despised the pound coin for years
I have lost more of those damn things
than I can bear to remember without getting
aggrivated
