i
watched my first episode
of
ally mcbeal

i
set aside any
guilt and shame
to
discuss why

but first i must
ask

how many of you
my
friends
watch ally mcbeal
regularly?

or

perhaps the better question
how many of you
will admit to it?

My saving grace
in this matter
is
that
i had no choice
i was compelled
to
watch

and
such compulsion came
before i even realized
what exactly it was
that i was watching

you see
i was flipping through the channels
trying to remember which
one was the BBC
and
I saw Christina Ricci

now
i will freely admit
that i
find her very attractive
and
paused momentarily
to see what it was

Those of you who watch
the show regularly
will
probably know which
episode i refer to

Her character
was a young vicious
and completely ruthless
lawyer
[i suppose vicious and ruthless are rather superlative all things consider]

and i was
incredibly aroused

the sight of this fiction
a
strong,
smart,
vicious,
witty,
utterly ruthless
and
incredibly intelligent
beautiful, feminine
woman

reminded me of
exactly what i want

i want a woman
who is all of those things

now the question is

that
one million dollar question

does she exist?

[on a side note]
[does anyone know]
[if she is a regular character now]
[TV is weeks behind down here]
[and not always played sequentially]
[and if that is the case]
[i fear i must find a way to see]
[more of this insipid show]

not that i dont mind
making my women sticky
from time to time
with various substances

or should i say
a woman who can be
both these things

people are vicious

and

when it suits me

not
