what a marvelous morning

so

I decided to make use of the seasons pass I bought
to the local ski hill today
hit the slopes when they opened around 9:30
skied untill twelve thirty
was good fun

the hill is tiny
bout five minutes up on the quad
and three minutes down on the skiis
but there are no lines
and once they have more terrain open
it will be more fun

I found a lil kicker to play with
got a few feet of air

it was more warm up jumping than anything else
but
seeing as I havent been on skiis in over a year
bout my speed for the day

I schmoozed with a couple of the Ski patrol guys up here
and they invited me to join the ski patrol

I'd have to take the written and practical tests of course
but those shouldnt be a problem

I filled out an application and will stop by tomorrow for a regulation book
to review before taking the written test

It sounds fun anyway
and I'll probably do it if the scheduling works
and they pay for my season pass

I figure thats a fair deal
and as I planned to be out skiing most days anyway
it seems rather convienent

anyway I gotta shower and get to class
