Walmart's own brand of wine. The world's largest retail chain is teaming up with E&J Gallo Winery
to produce the spirits at an affordable price; in the $6-8 range."

"While wine connoisseurs may not be inclined to throw a bottle of Walmart brand
wine into their shopping carts, there is a market for inexpensive wine,
said Kathy Micken, professor of marketing at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I.
She said: "The right name is important."

today was a good day

my sister found my tux
it is now in the tender hands
of the family drycleaners

I will have it next week
so
that is exciting news

and on a related note
my school is apparently
having a formal dance
the first weekend of november
so
it makes it all the more pleasant
to have located the tux

I just need to find someone
whose company I can stand long enough
to take to said dance

as I always enjoy
any excuse to get gussied up

I am off to costco
buying all kinds of stuff
but hopefully not
four hundred dollars worth of munchies
think I will grab something to eat on the way

to help avert that

finally got off my ass and bought
"The Godfather" trilogy on DVD
also picked up "Chasing Amy"
and
because I am just that much of a sucker
I bought
the unrated directors cut of

"True Romance"

even though I already on the regular DVD
damn
I love that movie

so I can beat you with a wet noodle

I also bought a few new books to read
and
all the harry potter books

I admit it

I loved those books

I am off to do some inane thing or another

I had a girl from Switzerland
come by the other night
looking at my spare room

i.e. a potential roommate

she sent me an email today
apparently she found a room which better meets her needs
